Week 2 post

Personally, I use an iPhone 4S. I like it because of the app’s you can get and it seems to be the easiest phone to use. I think also because my Mum got one before I did, I couldn’t let her upstage me. I use it to make calls but I also send messages, can access and send emails and it makes it easy to use social networking sites that I’ve joined like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I used to use Myspace as well and I still have an account but rarely go on there. I think social networking sites are good to keep in contact with people, especially friends overseas, but I also think people rely on them too much these days and we are losing our communication skills. The reason I got the sites was because my friends used them and told me about it then told me to join up. I try not to put too much detail on there as I’m worried about identity theft and who is seeing my profile. I hate that people can put photos of you on there, especially bad ones. After class discussion, we spoke about how some companies collect information about you from your profiles and emails, it’s worried me even more. And of course our Uni email addresses are now through Google. Good one!
